We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bobcat Operator to join our team for an upcoming project at Irvine Valley College. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating skid steers/Bobcats and performing groundwork, including footings, excavation, rebar placement, and concrete pouring.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of Bobcat / skid steer machinery for site grading and excavation.
- Digging trenches and holes for foundations and footings according to project specifications.
- Placing and tying rebar reinforcement for structural stability.
- Mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete for footings and slabs.
- Ensuring all work meets safety standards and maintaining job site cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating a Bobcat or skid loader.
- Solid background in concrete work, footing preparation, and rebar installation.
- Ability to handle physical work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to safety rules.
- Reliable transportation to the job site at Irvine Valley College.
