We’re hiring two Gate Operators for our Fontana terminal. You keep the yard moving safely and keep drivers from sitting. Reliable people, clear schedules, and equipment that works—that’s how we run it.
Shifts We’re Covering (per current needs)
Full-Time (40 hrs/week): Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Part-Time (~20 hrs/week):
Thursday night into Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (8 hours)
Friday night into Saturday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 PM (12 hours)
Both roles are on-site at our Fontana yard. Consistent weekly hours, no surprise schedule changes once you’re trained.
What You’ll Do
Control entry, exit, and traffic for trucks, trailers, containers, and chassis
Run the automated gate system and kiosks—check drivers in/out, capture entry/exit info, and keep the log clean
Verify paperwork, seals, and equipment as required so the right units move in and out
Coordinate with yard ops and the team so nothing sits longer than it needs to
Stay sharp on safety and security protocols (our gates and cameras are part of the process)
Keep the gate area organized and report anything that looks off
This is the front line for our customers’ equipment. When the gate runs smooth, the rest of the terminal does too.

What We’re Looking For
Reliable attendance and the ability to work the posted shift(s)
Basic computer comfort (gate system and logging are straightforward once trained)
Clear communication with drivers and the yard team
Attention to detail and willingness to follow safety procedures
Valid driver’s license preferred; background check and drug screen required
Prior gate, yard, logistics, or security experience is a plus but not required—we train the right people
Location
Fontana, CA (Mulberry / Calabash area). Easy access for the Inland Empire.
