Foreign Autohaus is currently seeking a full-time Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the automotive repair industry and develop their skills working alongside experienced European automotive technicians.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who is interested in learning professional automotive repair and gaining hands-on experience in a busy independent repair shop.
Requirements:
Genuine interest in automotive repair and a desire to learn
Basic understanding of automotive systems preferred
Previous shop, automotive, or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required
Valid driver's license
Dependable transportation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Perform basic automotive services such as oil services, brake work, fluid services, and general maintenance
Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly
Learn proper diagnostic and repair procedures
Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and properly
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance or repair needs
Assist technicians with diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting
Test drive vehicles with experienced technicians as needed
Learn factory-recommended service and repair procedures
Develop the skills necessary to advance into a professional automotive technician position
Compensation & Benefits:
$25/hr to $33/hr

This position involves standing for most of the workday, lifting and moving parts and equipment, and working in a busy automotive shop environment.
