Aire Tech LLC is looking for an experienced HVAC Mini-Split / Ductless Lead Installer to join our growing installation team.
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of hands-on experience installing ductless mini-split and heat-pump systems who can confidently lead an installation crew and handle a high volume of residential installations.
Responsibilities
* Lead an HVAC installation crew from start to finish.
* Install ductless mini-split and heat-pump systems, including multi-zone systems.
* Complete 4+ systems/installations per day with a crew, depending on job scope.
* Properly install refrigerant piping, line sets, condensate drains, wiring, controls, and equipment.
* Perform clean, professional installations while maintaining company quality standards.
* Read installation specifications and follow manufacturer requirements.
* Troubleshoot installation-related issues and ensure systems are operating properly.
* Drive the company van to residential job sites throughout Queens and Nassau County.
* Work efficiently in a high-volume installation environment.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience.
* Strong experience with ductless mini-split systems and heat pumps.
* Previous experience leading an installation crew.
* Ability to handle a high volume of installations while maintaining quality.
* EPA 608 certification required.
* Valid driver’s license required.
* Clean driving record required.
* Must be comfortable driving a company van to job sites.
* Strong knowledge of refrigerant piping, brazing, vacuuming, pressure testing, electrical connections, and condensate drainage.
* Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and strong work ethic.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
Preferred Experience
* Residential HVAC installation experience.
* Residential ductwork installation and modification.
* Experience with Mitsubishi Electric and other major ductless/heat-pump manufacturers.
* Experience with multi-zone systems.
* Experience working in a high-volume residential installation environment.
