Due to an unfortunate circumstance (and we wish them well!) room opening up in very cool 3 bedroom, 1 bath house. A cozy, quiet place tucked away, but very close to town. The house is on the urban trail off Lonetree, south of Sawmill. Smaller, older place in a historic neighborhood. Nice front and back patios, lots of trees and long-time neighbors. It's a safe, comfortable neighborhood.
The house is smaller, but very comfortable. The kitchen is great to cook in, has a gas stove and a new microwave. Lots of counter space to work on. There's a nice kitchen table with a couple of leaves that can be added for board games or dinners; the living room has very comfortable chairs and a reclining love seat. Composite floors that are easy to clean. Full shared bath, which is kept clean. Very well-insulated. The room has a nice closet and a big window, and the same composite floors.
Situated on a quiet street, with very little traffic, it's easy to forget that you're so close to downtown. Lots of birds of all kinds, and we even get deer walking up behind the house pretty often (outside the back fence). With all that, it's still only five minutes drive from 66 & San Fran. You can walk downtown in 20 minutes. It's very close to the university, too. It would be a great space for a grad student who wants a quiet place to live that's close to campus, for example. Harmonious household with open lines of communication.
Lease through July, with a $1125 security deposit. References required. Regrettably, furry friends are not an option – sorry, please don't ask! Shorter lease may be possible with higher monthly rent, willing to work with someone who is a good fit for the house.
It's an old-school Flagstaff kind of place. Looking to find the right person, and willing to take time to find them. It's not a party household, so maybe not well-suited to someone who's living that life (no judgment, it's just not the scene here). If that sounds good to you, drop us a line and tell us about yourself, what you like about the place, and we can take it from there. Pictures available on request. Thanks!
