Nanny/Care provider/Cook combo. I’m a single dad raising a low-functioning autistic young adult son. I have a holistic health care practice, am finishing my first book, and am burning the candle at both ends. Make my life a little easier, and I’ll help you financially. The position pays 2,400 per month, paid biweekly, including health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days. I also offer employees complimentary holistic health care to those interested. You have the option of living in and having no rent or food bills to pay. (You could put most of your paycheck into savings or investments instead of paying rent and other living expenses elsewhere).
I have a nice home in a quiet neighborhood, at the end of a cul-de-sac. I am very laid-back and have a pleasant personality. My son is mostly cooperative but has his moments. The environment is positive and supportive.
You will have a pleasant, positive attitude and be helpful without having to be micromanaged. You will take over prepping most lunch and evening meals. I’ll do breakfast. I’m treating my son nutritionally, with healthy, nourishing, home-cooked meals. So, you need a good foundation in cooking real meals versus microwaved or out-of-the-box meals. YouTube has some really good tutorials if you’re willing to put a little time into learning new cooking options, expanding your cooking skills, recipes, etc.
Help with light housekeeping and assisting with my son's laundry. This position would include helping my son learn and develop self-help skills such as folding and putting away his laundry, hanging shirts in the closet, and bathing and dressing skills. He loves walking multiple times a day, so you will need to be in decent shape and able to walk a mile or so a few times a day. We walk the track at the rec center when the weather is inclement. Some basic training is provided for assisting my son.
