Looking to form a band/jam group (Longmont)

Mostly interested in original compositions and improvisation, but also cover songs ofc. I am multi-instrumental, but mostly guitar, a lyricist and can somewhat carry a tune. Looking for rhythm section and indeterminate others. In the direction of fast and fun, eclectic and interesting, simple and satisfying.

The main purpose is to create a fun and diverse jam group, but with the goal is to create a band performing original music created by us. Open to all and looking for real collaboration.

Influences are more about songs than bands, but bands are easier to list, so: David Bowie, The Cure, Tool (not like that), DeVotchka, Talking Heads, Deftones, A Tribe Called Quest, Ozomatli, Fishbone, INXS.
