Is your festival getting stale? Not enough people? Same vendors? Same attractions every year?
I’m looking for festivals, fairs, art walks, street events, music events and community events that need somebody to come in and find new ideas and make things happen.
I specialize in the stuff that can be difficult to find:
NEW VENDORS
Artists, craftspeople, unusual merchandise, independent food operators and interesting local businesses.
NEW ATTRACTIONS
Things people don’t normally see at a festival. Demonstrations, unusual activities, interactive experiences, local characters, performers and things that give people a reason to stop.
MORE PEOPLE
Grassroots promotion, local connections, tourism opportunities, partnerships and finding audiences outside the festival’s usual crowd.
BETTER EXPERIENCE
Looking at an event from the perspective of somebody walking through it and asking: What’s going to make this person stay another hour?
PROBLEM SOLVING
If something isn’t working, I’ll figure out why and start looking for solutions instead of just writing it into a meeting agenda.
I’m particularly interested in Sonoma County, Marin, Napa, the North Bay and San Francisco, but will consider interesting projects elsewhere.
