Tested audio, phono input and stereo reciever.
Demonstrates Volume & Intermittent Channel Issues. Volume buttons not functioning currently set at about 1/3 volume.
The Technics SA-626 Stereo Receiver is a vintage audio device originating from Japan, known for its high-quality sound reproduction capabilities. This receiver is a classic piece from the renowned brand Technics. Perfect for music enthusiasts looking to add a retro touch to their audio setup, this FM AM stereo receiver offers a nostalgic listening experience with modern technology.
Powers on and produces audio through the speakers. AM and PHONO have been tested, and I made a video of it playing a record.
Known issues:
* Motorized volume control does not currently change the volume up or down.
* Volume-range indicator does not move.
* Volume drive belt was visually inspected and appears intact but is quite loose/slack.
* Audio has exhibited an intermittent warm-up issue: both channels have worked after warming up, but the right channel had some intermittent sound issues.
Good candidate for someone who enjoys vintage Technics equipment and wants a repair/project unit, or for parts.
