After living in both the city of Portland and the outer Gorge towns, I've found Camas to be logistical perfection. The home is right off of HWY 14 which gets you to Portland in 20 mins, the Gorge in 15, Vancouver in 15. Camas itself has a charming downtown, it's own waterfalls and lakes, wooded single-track, and a beach.
This is an open minded household. There's no judgements and the only expectations are in sharing a clean living space and mutual respect. I spend my time cooking, dancing, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, climbing, foraging, camping, making art, and chasing art.
Alex and I are both service industry so there are a lot of quiet nights to relax into.
This is a very large home with a lot of space for privacy and for coming together. The room available is the largest and most private with a double sink, full bath and large window overlooking the trees.
Storage is limited but possible for the right items/people/situation. The outdoor space is limited but that just gets you in the woods more.
The room can be partially furnished or not at all.
Hopefully you love dogs, cause Lupe's gonna love you. Other pets may be considered!
$980 a month plus $120 (fixed rate) utilities per person. $980 deposit. Month to month, or long term lease, open to anything for the right person.
Available September 1st but could flex sooner or later for the right person.
