Late War Japanese Type 30 Bayonet (produced from 1943–1945) is a highly distinctive "last-ditch" variant. To preserve materials and speed up manufacturing, the Imperial Japanese Army stripped away many of the signature features of the early-war models, creating a cruder, more utilitarian weapon.
