Looking for a second piano player/singer to launch a new dueling piano show in Camas, WA this November.
I'm Santiago Valencia, a professional musician with decades of stage experience across pop, rock, R&B, jazz and Latin music. I'm building a high-energy, request-driven, singalong show for a mixed 25-50 crowd, and I need a partner on the other piano who can hold the room, trade songs, and have fun doing it. We do plan to be backed up by a small band to fill the sound.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
- Plays piano and sings lead (Male and/or Female).
- 125+ songs you can play from memory (leadsheets are fine for now).
- Comfortable taking requests on the fly, and faking gracefully when you don't know one!
- Can harmonize and trade verses on duets.
- Has own digital piano and gear for performance.
- Stage presence, crowd banter, and a sense of humor.
- Available to rehearse.
- Reliable transportation to Camas.
- Spanish-language songs are a big plus.
