Antique Blanket Box, at least 125 years old and likely much older. Dovetail construction. The original finish is intact, and shows the original woodworking. There are no stains or watermarks. It needs a coat of furniture oil, that's all. According to my mother, the interior paint was made from blueberries and is original. There's one side compartment. The original black iron hardware was exchanged previously for brass, but I've sourced it online and it could be replaced if desired. It measures 23 1/2"W, 38"L, 28"H. It's been in my family for 50 years, and was purchased at an antique shop in Ontario, Canada.
