The grip is crafted from natural horn, fitted with an S-shaped cross-guard.The Companion Knife (Nickmesser):
This smaller utility knife was used for the delicate tasks of field dressing and skinning game. Complete sets with their original companion knives intact are highly collectible, as a vast majority of these smaller knives were lost or misplaced over time.
