Key Responsibilities
• Cost Modeling: Build and optimize predictive cost models for labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
• Data Analysis: Mine large data sets to identify spending trends, variance anomalies, and market pricing shifts.
• Bid Preparation: Partner with project managers to generate precise, data-driven estimates, cost proposals, and bid reports.
• Dashboard Design: Maintain interactive dashboards to track estimating key performance indicators (KPIs) and historical accuracy.
• Process Improvement: Automate data collection workflows and refine forecasting methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query).
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or cost estimating.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong statistical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex quantitative findings into clear business presentations for stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
