I have approximately 4 years of hands-on private ranch/property care experience, including caring for:
• 30 chickens
• 20 ducks
• 4 goats
• 2 sheep
• Quail
• Dogs
• Cats
• Aquatic fish
My experience includes animal feeding and care, cleaning animal areas, gardening, vegetable growing, irrigation, groundskeeping, property cleanup, and general ranch maintenance. I am also willing to learn more about horses and other livestock.
I also have handyman/property maintenance experience, including:
• Painting
• Drywall
• Flooring
• Demolition
• Appliance work
• General repairs
• Power and hand tools
• Landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Gardening and irrigation
• General property upkeep
I can also help with driving, errands, supply runs, picking up materials, and other day-to-day property needs. I have a good driving record and recently obtained my Class A CDL.
I have extensive previous experience in the restaurant industry, including working as a chef, server, dishwasher, and restaurant owner/manager, as well as experience with dog walking, pet sitting, childcare, and general handyman work.
I understand that working on a private ranch, estate, or family property requires trust, discretion, reliability, and independence. I do not smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I am willing to provide a background/criminal check, driving record, and drug test if requested.
I also have a livable camper van, so I can be flexible with locations and, if permitted, can stay onsite or nearby. This can be particularly useful for properties that need someone available for animal care, maintenance, or occasional unexpected needs.
COMPENSATION: Looking for $25+/hour for standard ranch/property work, depending on responsibilities and workload.
I am looking for a serious, long-term opportunity and am willing to take on a variety of responsibilities. I am not looking for a job where I simply stand around waiting for instructions — I prefer being useful, solving problems, taking care of the property, and getting the work done.
