Experienced Class A CDL driver currently looking for an OTR position with strong pay & strong miles. I live in North Carolina near Fayetteville but I am open to a trucking company in any state as long as I can take the truck home for home time.
What I’m looking for:
• Dry van preferred, reefer is okay
• Strong weekly miles, ideally around 3,000–4,200
• Looking to make at least .75cpm or 28% of the load.
• Approximately 3 weeks out with 4–5 FULL days home
• Pet friendly — must allow my dog
• Rider policy preferred
• No touch freight preferred
• Well maintained equipment
• Consistent communication with dispatch
• Weekly direct deposit
• Although I don’t care for a 34 & prefer recaps, my 10 hour break needs to be respected. I’m willing to run hard while I’m on duty but I’m not interested in constantly being pushed to cut my rest short.
About me:
• NC Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement
• 4+ years of CDL experience
• OTR and dedicated experience
• Dry van, reefer and hazmat experience
• Comfortable running long distance freight. Not willing to run metro NYC.
• Can provide employment history/MVR information
• Ready to travel for orientation for the right company by August 24th
I understand trucking and I’m not expecting everything to be perfect. I’m looking for a company that has the freight to keep me moving, pays what they advertise, maintains their equipment, respects drivers’ rest time, and can reliably get me home after being out for several weeks.
Please send me: company name, pay structure (CPM or percentage), realistic weekly miles, hometime policy, pet/rider policy, truck information, orientation location/days, and any escrow or deductions.
Serious opportunities only. I’m specifically interested in carriers with verifiable company information.
Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this poster.
