Seeking livestock or Exotic Ranch Animals in Need of a Second Chance
We are working toward establishing a livestock and exotic livestock rescue ranch in Southwest Wisconsin and are looking to connect with exotic ranch owners, breeders, and livestock operations throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas.
Our goal is to help provide safe, responsible placement for unusual ranch animals that need a new home because of ranch closures, herd reductions, changing circumstances, or owners who can no longer care for them.
ANIMALS OF INTEREST INCLUDE:
Zebras and exotic equines
Camels and other camelids
Antelope and exotic hoofstock
Elk and deer, where legally permitted
Bison and water buffalo
Yaks and other unusual bovines
Kangaroos and wallabies
Emus, ostriches, and rheas
Other unusual ranch livestock and exotic ungulates
Any livestock and also take cats and dogs and other animals on a case by case basis as of right now
WE ARE LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH:
Livestock and exotic ranches reducing herds or closing operations
Breeders and owners needing responsible rehoming options
Animals available for donation or negotiated transfer
Ranchers willing to share knowledge and experience
People able to help with land, fencing, shelters, equipment, feed, and startup resources
We understand that exotics and livestock require specialized handling, appropriate facilities, and species-specific care. Every potential placement will be considered individually based on our readiness, available resources, animal welfare, and applicable legal requirements.
STARTUP STATUS: We are currently building connections and working toward establishing this rescue. We welcome inquiries, advice, potential partnerships, and information about animals that may need future placement. We will only accept animals when suitable facilities and care arrangements are in place.
