A full or part time position is now available at a busy equine hospital in Somis. We are looking for someone to complement our current team in providing high quality equine veterinary nursing care. The desired applicant should display an excellent work ethic, be detail oriented, and be able to work independently. The applicant should also be punctual, friendly, articulate and have compassion for our patients and their owners. A thorough veterinary training will prepare the qualified person.The position would require evening and overnight shifts, on call and weekends. The position would include, but not limited to, performing patient nursing care, laboratory work, assisting doctors with procedures and surgery, cleaning and general hospital duties. Excellent horsemanship skills are required and previous veterinary skills are desirable. Salary is dependent on previous experience and licensing (RVT, LVT).
