An example of blue & white ceramics that was lost in a shipwreck until discovered in 1999. The shipwreck occurred in 1822 when the ship hit a reef in the South China Sea. Some staining, and a small chip to the rim is all that seems to be the problems with this piece. All salvageable cargo was auctioned off years ago. The bowl is 5 1/2" wide.
