QR Code Link to This Post
wireless mic / wireless microphone / cordless mic
Cordless Microphone package, includes:
> Microphone (Shure GLXD2 Z2)
> remote unit / receiver, with built-in battery charger) (GLXD4+ Z3, frequency: 5.8 GHz / 2.4 GHz)
> power adaptor for remote unit (Model: PS43US 03, output: 15V)
> rechargeable lithium battery for mic (SB902, brand new battery, will last 8 years)
> carry case (GLX-D+14)
Excellent range (I’ve used it across a football field!)
I have gaff-taped the power adaptor’s wires at the points where the wires bend. (See the pic - I experienced broken wires at those points in previous remotes.)
THE ONLY FLAW: The on-off switch. It’s not broken - but to turn mic OFF, you disconnect the battery for a second. It’s a slight annoyance if you need to turn mic on and off a lot (if you’re a host or MC), but when performing regular band sets (with mic ON for long stretches), it's not an issue.
Call Jon anytime to come and try the mic!
