From chasing waves along the coast to mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding in the mountains, this 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was built with adventure and time outdoors in mind. It’s a one-of-a-kind lightweight DIY camper with natural wood finishes, aluminum framing, and a versatile layout that sleeps two.
With 63,803 miles, it’s powered by a Mercedes-Benz 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine (OM642), producing 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7G-TRONIC Plus 7-speed automatic transmission. Selectable 4-wheel drive with low-range gearing (4x4 Low) provides added control at low speeds on challenging terrain.
Recent upgrades include new Black Rhino alloy rims, new BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, and new brakes. Four Mercedes-Benz remote keys are included.
Inside, wood walls and ceiling, upholstered lounge seating, and a colorful custom dining table give the van its own character. The seating area converts into sleeping space for two, and swivel front seats expand the living area. Overhead cabinets and under-bench storage provide room for gear and everyday essentials.
Designed around adventures throughout the year, the camper includes an under-seat Espar Airtronic S2 D2L diesel cabin heater for cold-weather trips. Rooftop ventilation, solar power, and a practical onboard water system support summer getaways, too. The 25-gallon water tank and outdoor shower nozzle make rinsing off after surfing or a dusty trail ride easy.
