Think about harp lessons for your child instead of piano; they will learn the same skills but play a beautiful and soothing instrument.
I also welcome adult beginners. I teach at my El Cerrito studio (near Berkeley) and also go to student's houses.
You are welcome to come for a "see the harps," introductory half-price lesson. Also, harp rentals are available and affordable.
