Busy long standing family owned Italian restaurant in east county looking for an experienced hands on kitchen manager. Full time plus OT hours. Looking for someone to be my right hand person running the kitchen. Needs to speak English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house employees to support smooth operations
* Manage food preparation, inventory, cleaning, and end-of-shift duties
* Manage overall kitchen organization and efficiency
* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
* Step in where needed to support team success and maintain service standards.
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
* Set up and maintain your workstation to ensure readiness throughout each shift
* Complete customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
Job Requirements
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be able to reliably commute to El Cajon, CA 92021
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and other scheduled shifts as needed
* Ability to remain standing for extended periods (8hrs+)
* Ability to lift and carry supplies and kitchen items as required (25lb minimum)
* Prior restaurant kitchen management experience
*Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking and reading)
