C-ME Trim Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, project coordination, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and managing projects from estimating through completion.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager/Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, coordinating project activities, communicating with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel, and helping ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for construction projects.
Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents.
Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate labor and material costs.
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
Prepare bids and proposals for customers and general contractors.
Coordinate projects from estimating through completion.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and change orders.
Communicate with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field employees.
Coordinate materials, labor, equipment, and project requirements.
Review project progress and address scheduling or cost issues.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Assist with contract and change-order administration.
Visit job sites as needed to review project conditions and progress.
Perform other duties related to project management and estimating.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in construction project management and/or estimating.
Knowledge of construction materials, labor requirements, and project costs.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project-management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for job-site visits.
COMPENSATION
$32.00–$40.00 per hour
Actual starting pay within the posted range will depend on qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position may involve both office and job-site work. The employee may be required to travel to project locations and interact with customers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
