About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our scaffolding warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring scaffolding equipment and materials are received, inspected, stored, maintained, tracked, and dispatched efficiently and safely.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands warehouse operations, takes safety seriously, and can keep equipment, inventory, and people organized in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, loading, and dispatching.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure equipment is properly tracked.
Oversee the inspection, organization, cleaning, and maintenance of scaffolding components and related equipment.
Coordinate equipment deliveries and returns with field crews, project managers, and customers.
Ensure all scaffolding materials are safely stored and handled.
Conduct regular inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
Lead, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard.
Ensure company safety policies and applicable workplace regulations are followed.
Coordinate repairs, damaged equipment, and equipment requiring removal from service.
Improve warehouse processes to reduce lost equipment, downtime, and unnecessary costs.
Maintain accurate records for equipment movement, inspections, and maintenance.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
Work closely with operations and management to ensure crews have the equipment they need, when they need it.
Qualifications
3+ years of warehouse, yard, logistics, or materials-management experience.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
Experience in scaffolding, construction, industrial equipment, or a related industry is a strong asset.
Strong organizational and inventory-management skills.
Comfortable working outdoors and handling heavy materials and equipment.
Forklift experience/certification is an asset.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems independently.
Valid driver's license is an asset.
