Professional Bamboo Landscapers LLC is looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to join our bamboo removal and excavation crew.
We currently operate one field crew and plan to expand to two crews in April 2027. This position works directly with the owner and is intended for someone who can grow into taking full responsibility for running a crew in the field.
Bamboo removal experience is not required. It is a specialized trade, and we will teach you our process.
We are looking for someone with real experience operating a mini excavator, towing equipment trailers, working in the field, and leading a small crew.
The Position
This is a working leadership role. You will learn our bamboo removal and excavation process while working alongside the current crew and preparing to take over a full crew leadership role.
You should be comfortable:
• Operating a mini excavator
• Driving a truck and towing equipment trailers
• Leading and organizing a small field crew
• Keeping jobs moving and stepping in to work alongside the crew when needed
Landscaping, construction, excavation, or similar field leadership experience is a strong fit.
Pay and Growth
• Remainder of the 2026 season: $1,150-$1,350/week based on experience and demonstrated ability
• Successful candidate returning in April 2027: $1,500/week as full Crew Leader / Field Operations Manager
• Performance bonus opportunities and future pay increases based on performance and responsibility
• $500 end-of-season bonus
• $1,000 return bonus for returning in April 2027
• Position transitions into a full-time, year-round management role beginning in April 2027
Schedule
• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Typical start time is 8:00 AM at our Edison shop
• Occasional Saturdays
• Transportation to job sites is provided in company vehicles and travel time is paid
• Current 2026 season runs through approximately mid-January
