This is a very high-end polycarbonate chair mat designed for use on deep-pile carpeting. I purchased this item on 7/26/26 from Amazon for my home office. Two weeks later the boss contracted to have the office carpet removed and a hardwood floor installed (*facepalm*).

This is not the cheap vinyl chair mat you will find at Office Depot! It is twice as strong, will not curl, and most importantly is specifically designed for deep pile carpet to prevent it from developing cracks or edge curls over time. Overall size is 35" x 47," the tongue that fits under the desk measures 10" deep x 20" wide (see photo). I paid $122.58 for it in July including tax and shipping. I will let it go for less than half of that, just need it gone.
