Hampton Inn Dumfries-Quantico is looking for weekend Part-Time Front Desk Agent. Hilton experience or hotel experience preferred. Professional, Friendly, Dependable, Caring and Detail Oriented a must. Will train right person. Must be able to work by self.
At the Hampton Inn in Dumfries, we take pride in delivering exceptional, friendly service and creating a welcoming "home away from home" experience for every guest. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual to join our front desk team and help us maintain our high standards of hospitality.
Position Summary
As a Part-Time Front Desk Agent, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel. You will be responsible for greeting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and providing local recommendations with a smile. Weekend shifts are vibrant and fast-paced, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people.
Key Responsibilities
*Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
*Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments efficiently using our property management system.
*Answer telephone and email inquiries regarding reservations, hotel policies, and local attractions.
*Process guest payments, manage cash handling, and balance accounts at the end of the shift.
*Address and resolve guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.
*Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met.
*Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
Qualifications & Requirements
*Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM consistently.
* Previous customer service, hospitality, or hotel front desk experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude!
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
*Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
*Professionalism: A friendly, upbeat demeanor and a passion for helping others.
