Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, pathways, driveways, steps, and building entrances using hand shovels - walk-behind snow blowers - or operating equipment to safely remove snow.
Apply ice melt, salt, with push-spreaders or by vehicle if applicable to prevent ice buildup on sidewalks or parking lots.
Inspect work areas for hazards and report property damage or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain, load, and safely store company equipment (shovels, blowers, salt, plow trucks, and heavy equipment) before and after shifts.
Work effectively and safely in a team environment to complete routes quickly and thoroughly during active storms and after storms for quality control.
Qualifications & Requirements Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, shovel, and lift heavy weights (up to 45 lbs) for extended periods of time in severe cold weather.
Reliability: Must respond promptly to be on call and arrive at designated meeting spots or job sites on time.
Pay dependent on experience operating equipment safely and qualifications.
