Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Needed in Duluth
Pay: $18.50/hour
Flexible scheduling — up to 10 hours/day available (can be shared among 2–3 people)
Karen is a warm, caring woman going through a difficult chapter. She needs reliable support and is seeking dependable Personal Care Assistant(s) to help her at home. She is recovering from a broken hip, currently wheelchair‑bound, and receives PCA benefits that allow for up to 10 hours of care per day. Scheduling can be divided among multiple caregivers.
🧹 Responsibilities
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Assistance with daily living (bathing, dressing, transfers from wheelchair)
Running errands and shopping
Transportation to medical appointments
🌼 Requirements
Dependable and reliable
Non‑smoker
Comfortable around dogs
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and dependable vehicle
Able to pass Minnesota PCA background check
Kind, patient, respectful, and conscientious demeanor
🌱 Preferences
Openness to healthy, simple meal preparation
Previous PCA or caregiving experience
Willingness to collaborate with Karen on a steady, consistent schedule
