What You Will Do - Delivery Driver Responsibilities
As a Non CDL Delivery Driver with VALY, your day will be active, structured, and rewarding. Key responsibilities include:
Report to the warehouse each morning for route loadout and package organization
Pick up and organize pre-sorted packages at the warehouse before heading out on your route
Operate a company delivery vehicle safely and responsibly throughout your shift
Follow your navigated delivery route using GPS and routing technology
Load and unload your delivery vehicle efficiently at each stop
Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across your assigned route
Scan packages and complete delivery confirmations accurately
Follow all delivery instructions, safety procedures, and traffic laws
Communicate with dispatch and management regarding any route issues
Provide professional, courteous service during every customer interaction - you represent our brand
Refuel and secure the company vehicle at the end of each shift
Return to the warehouse at the end of your route to close out your day
Accurately record work time and complete required documentation
Support fellow drivers and team members when needed
Complete additional delivery-related tasks as assigned by management
Delivery Driver Requirements - Non CDL
We are looking for reliable, professional delivery drivers who are ready to represent VALY on the road. Here is what you will need:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license in good standing
No CDL required - this is a non CDL delivery driver role
Safe, responsible, and confident driving approach
Comfortable operating and parking a larger delivery vehicle
Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs
Role involves repeated physical activity including entering and exiting the vehicle throughout the shift
Ability to work independently while staying connected with your driver team
Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
2-5 day per week availability; weekend availability may be required.
