We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team in Downey, California.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting people with developmental disabilities while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living activities and personal care.
* Support independence, social development, and community participation.
* Follow individualized care plans and behavioral support guidelines.
* Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges and emergencies.
* Maintain accurate daily documentation and incident reports.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
* Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* DSP 1 and DSP 2 training completed or ability to meet applicable training requirements.
* Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
* CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification – must obtain.
* First Aid certification – must obtain.
* BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – must obtain.
* Ability to pass applicable background checks.
* Strong communication, patience, professionalism, and reliability.
* Ability to follow safety procedures and individualized support plans.
