PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY.
We are NOT looking for a remote employee or remote estimator. This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing residential and commercial construction projects and be comfortable communicating with customers, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Construction Project Management experience is REQUIRED
Xactimate experience is REQUIRED
Must be able to independently write detailed repair/reconstruction estimates in Xactimate
Must understand construction estimating, pricing, labor, materials, subcontractors, and project scopes
Must have experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters
Must be comfortable discussing estimates, scope, pricing, and project details directly with clients/homeowners
Must be able to review insurance scopes and identify missing or incorrect items
Must understand the insurance restoration/reconstruction process
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must have strong organizational and time-management skills
Must be able to communicate professionally by phone, email, and text
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and insurance representatives
Must be able to follow projects from initial inspection/estimate through completion, invoicing, and closeout
Must be able to review project documentation, photos, contracts, estimates, change orders, and invoices
Must be able to identify potential project issues and resolve them before they become larger problems
Must be dependable, professional, and able to take ownership of assigned projects
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage construction/reconstruction projects from start to finish
Inspect job sites and determine the required scope of repairs
Prepare detailed repair estimates using Xactimate
Review and negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters
Communicate with homeowners/clients regarding scope, pricing, schedules, and project expectations
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and field personnel
Develop and maintain project schedules
Monitor project progress, quality, and completion dates
Review daily job-site activity, photos, and documentation
Prepare and manage change orders when additional work is discovered
Communicate project updates to customers and management
Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
Track project costs and help ensure projects remain profitable
Review invoices and subcontractor charges
Assist with collections and project closeout when necessary
Maintain accurate project documentation
Work closely with the mitigation and production teams when projects transition from mitigation to reconstruction
Attend job-site meetings and client meetings as needed
WORK SCHEDULE / AVAILABILITY
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Because construction and restoration projects can require communication outside normal business hours, the Project Manager is expected to respond to calls, emails, and text messages after hours when necessary, particularly for active projects or time-sensitive customer/project issues.
This is NOT a remote position.
The successful candidate will work in-house from our office and will be expected to attend job sites, client meetings, inspections, and other project-related appointments as needed.
We are NOT hiring remote estimators.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and does not need to be trained from the ground up on construction estimating or project management.
You should be able to receive a project, review the scope, inspect the property, write an Xactimate estimate, communicate with the adjuster and customer, coordinate the work, and manage the project through completion.
If you do not have Xactimate experience, this position is not a good fit.
If you are looking specifically for a remote estimating position, this position is not a good fit.
