Certified Plant Growers is a busy, established plant grower and nursery in Norwalk, CA. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Administrative / Accounts Receivable person to join our team.
This is a full-time, in-person position for someone who is organized, professional, comfortable working with customers, and able to handle both office and front-counter responsibilities.
PAY: $17.00–$21.00+ PER HOUR, DOE
REQUIREMENTS:
Bilingual English/Spanish – REQUIRED
Previous office, administrative, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or similar experience
Customer service experience
Comfortable working directly with customers
Comfortable operating a cash register and handling customer transactions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable using computers and learning company software
Able to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment
Professional communication skills in both English and Spanish
JOB DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Accounts receivable and basic office accounting duties
Processing customer payments and transactions
Operating a cash register
Assisting walk-in wholesale and retail customers
Answering phones and assisting customers with questions
Entering customer orders and information
Invoicing and maintaining accurate customer records
Following up on accounts receivable as needed
General administrative and clerical duties
Assisting with other office tasks and projects as needed
Working with customers and staff in both English and Spanish
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience in a plant nursery, greenhouse, landscaping, agriculture, farming, garden center, or other related business is a big plus.
We're especially interested in someone who has a strong administrative/accounts receivable background and enjoys working with customers.

We grow and supply a wide variety of plants, including bedding plants, annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, ornamentals, succulents, and more. We serve both retail customers and professional customers throughout Southern California.
