Age & History:
These genuine historic pavers were manufactured during the Victorian and Edwardian eras (circa 1850–1910).
Unlike modern concrete replicas, these are authentic 100+ year-old vitrified clay blocks featuring a beautifully weathered
dark ironstone face. Many bricks in this lot still retain their original historic salt-glazed glass finish, a rare kiln-fired vitreous
sheen that provides permanent weatherproofing and beautiful historic character. The raised diamond cross-hatch pattern was
originally engineered in the late 19th century to provide traction for horse-and-carriage courtyards, stables, and municipal walkways
