The Website Maintenance & Ecommerce Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and optimization of the Shopify website to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintain and update the Shopify website, including products, collections, pages, navigation, and content.
* Upload and optimize product images, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
* Create landing pages and promotional pages for seasonal campaigns and product launches.
* Update homepage banners, featured collections, and merchandising based on business needs.
* Ensure all website content is accurate, current, and free of errors.
* Monitor website functionality and promptly identify broken links, page errors, or display issues.
* Coordinate with team members on website enhancements and bug fixes.
* Install, configure, and manage Shopify apps as needed.
* Perform routine quality assurance (QA) testing before and after website updates.
* Optimize site speed, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.
* Assist with basic SEO, including meta titles, descriptions, image alt text, URL structure, and internal linking.
* Implement tracking pixels, analytics tags, and marketing integrations when required.
* Monitor website performance using Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics.
* Ensure compliance with privacy, accessibility (ADA), and other e-commerce best practices.
* Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams or external vendors.
* Maintain documentation of website updates, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify websites.
* Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Liquid (preferred but not required).
* Experience with Shopify themes and customization.
* Familiarity with Shopify Plus is a plus.
* Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and SEO best practices.
* Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma for basic website graphics.
* Understanding of ecommerce UX/UI best practices.
Work Location
This is a contract, on-site position. Remote or hybrid work is not available. The successful candidate is expected to work from our office during regular business hours and collaborate to support daily ecommerce operations.
