Job Summary
We need a dependable Cleaner / Handyman / Janitor to keep our building clean, safe, and in good shape. You will handle daily cleaning and take care of small repair jobs around the property.
• Pay: $16.50 an hour
• Pay Frequency: Paid every week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 40 hours a week (Guaranteed)
• Bonus: Opportunity to make extra money with side gigs and special projects.
What You Will Do
• Sweep and mop all floors, entryways, and hallways daily.
• Take out garbage and recycling to the dumpster and replace trash liners.
• Change lightbulbs in offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchens.
• Fix small things like leaky faucets, clogged toilets, and small holes in walls.
• Handle other small jobs as they come up (like moving boxes, hanging pictures, or assembling simple furniture).
• Lock up the building securely at the end of your shift.
What You Need:
-Transportation
• Must have your own reliable way to get to work on time every day
Cleaning Skills
• Professional sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Emptying heavy garbage bins safely
Fixing Skills
• Swapping out dead lightbulbs safely
• Basic plumbing (clogged toilets)
• Simple wall patching
Physical Ability
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand, walk, and bend for a full shift
Work Habits • Reliable: Shows up on time Monday through Friday
• Flexible: Ready to help with random daily tasks as needed
