Two things to know: it is REMARKABLY heavy. You may need a third or fourth person to come lift it. My back will not allow me to help. Second, you won't want to sit in the middle. Probably to maintain the integrity of the bed, it is designed with hard plastic running along the gaps in the middle of the couch. Each side of the couch is really comfy, on the firm side. Each arm is hard, so it's good lean on with a pillow to stretch your legs. The bed is comfy; a big step up from your traditional, old-school ones with thin mattresses and springs.
