This ShoBud Pro I is from 1977 according to Don Blood's website of serial number dates. It is a project as it needs to be reassembled from the parts. It had been converted to an 8-string with a volume knob installed next to the pickup. I wanted to restore it to it's original look. It came with 4 pedals and three knee levers. I replaced the neck which had been cut into for the volume knob, replaced the tuners, and was in the process of installing a different pickup when the project stalled out. This was long enough ago that I don't think I'll get around to finishing it making it a great project for someone who is into that. Everything should be there to get it working, but of course, parts are available online to configure it however you want. All the parts shown are included, including the old parts and pickup. The changer had one leg cut short to accommodate the volume knob, so I bought a new changer housing, but it seems that the scale might be off when using that one, so I put the old one back on. It works and the short leg is hidden by the neck. I'll include the new changer housing with the rest of the parts. I have many pictures of the steel before it was disassembled, some from the person from whom I bought it and some I took of the set-up that was on it before I took it apart. I labeled the parts. It's a nice little puzzle right now that I don't want to finish. I'm not including any of the pictures from before in the listing because I don't want any confusion about the state of the instrument. It is in parts right now waiting to be put back together. What you see is what you get, no guarantees, no refund. The price is firm, cash only, no trades. Thanks.
