Check out this rare and iconic Hercules 3-speed cruiser! This bicycle has been in my family ever since its manufacture in 1964. It probably was last ridden some forty years ago and has been stored in our Denver area garage for its entire life. It clearly shows its age but is in reasonable restoration-ready condition waiting for you to restore and enjoy. The original seat has been replaced with a padded Schwinn saddle. I believe the chrome plated tire and chain guards are aftermarket additions along with several other parts including reflectors, cable sheathing, inner tubes, and tires. The tubes and tires can hold a few pounds of air to make moving the bike around easier, but the bike is NOT IN RIDABLE CONDITION. The tires are dry rotted and will certainly burst under a person's weight. In addition, the brake shoe material appears unreliable at best. There are various stickers and bits of tape on the frame. The paint has scratches and chips from wear and tear through the years but the metal appears to be in good condition.
NOTE: This bicycle is in unridable condition in need of restoration: it will be sold as-is. Also, this is a local, cash-only sale and the price is FIRM. If the ad is up, the bike is available.
