A early 2000s TKL Deluxe Classical Arch-Top Guitar Hard Shell Case in excellent condition; black with a dark red faux fur interior, four brass latches with one locking (with a single key), and a plastic composite handle. The Arch-Top is the rise in the cover above the body of the guitar to where the neck begins, providing additional room for protection from the top. There are no Case Strap attachments.

TKL guitar cases are known for their durability, more so among many online reviews, even those on general forums for other topics, when the issue of case quality is mentioned. A few have mentioned that issues began to arise about the mid to late 2000s, but also mentioned is that there may be a direct agreed cost per unit contracts that TKL made with guitar manufacturers, such as Martin, which may have something to do with their normal level of quality. This case is sturdy, has good weight and rigidity to it, and my classical fits snugly as it should.

All latches are firm in place, the handle is not loose, the red faux fur interior is not sagging. The new case from TKL is about ($325.00) with tax and free shipping, their dealers (one in Arvada) sell new for the same cost last I checked; that product has chrome finish hardware, not brass. Online classical cases used are less common than other styles, and case manufacturers vary.
