FormTight is a Denver-based company that manufactures custom plastic packaging. We are looking for a hard-working and dependable person to join our team as a Maintenance Apprentice.
You will work alongside our maintenance manager to help keep our building and production equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position where you will learn new skills and gain experience in mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance.
What You'll Do:
• Help maintain and repair production equipment
• Help with basic mechanical and electrical repairs
• Assist with building and facility maintenance
• Follow safety rules and OSHA guidelines
• Work with other departments to help keep production running
What We're Looking For:
• Dependable and willing to learn
• Comfortable working with tools and equipment
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Previous maintenance, mechanical, electrical, welding, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
• Able to stand and work for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to safely work around production equipment
• Able to use mechanical assistance for heavier items
We work 40hrs / week, Monday through Friday, with overtime required occasionally. We offer a starting wage of $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include paid holidays, 401K, vacation, and dental/health insurance. FormTight, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
