Denver Glass Interiors (DGI) is seeking a motivated individual to join our Wholesale Delivery team. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn glass handling and quality control procedures while building a long-term career in the glass industry.
This position places a strong emphasis on quality control and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying measurements, inspecting finished products, and identifying defects before materials leave our facility. The accurate use of tape measures with fractional dimensions is a primary job function for this position. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN NOT READ A TAPE MEASURE OR UNDERSTAND FRACTIONS. as the Delivery Driver you will need a clean driving record, with at least 5 years of driving history. this Position is dependent on passing the driving background check by our insurance company
Primary Responsibilities: loading delivery truck ( Ford Transit van, or Isuzu box truck 18' ) with Glass Panels up to 70 lbs. driving to delivery locations in Colorado and Wyoming to unload, and deliver . keeping track of delivery paperwork
• Verify glass sizes, hole locations, and fabrication details against production paperwork
• Inspect finished glass products for scratches, chips, defects, and quality concerns
• learn to handle, package, and load glass products
• Maintain accurate quality control records
• Help ensure products meet company and customer quality standards before shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to lift and move materials safely up to 70#
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
