We are looking for referees who are punctual, reliable, learn and enforce the rules, but have an even better grasp of how to deal with people/players to ensure that games run smoothly (e.g. a good sense of humor).
BEFORE YOU APPLY REQUIREMENTS
- W9 Required for payroll
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES center around maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive game environment while conducting competent and professionally-managed matches:
· Officiating Games
· Managing logistics including timely start and completion of games
· Helping in setup and take down of the field (e.g. pop-up goals) as needed
· Carrying balls, cones, bibs as needed
· Resolving or mediating disputes
· Managing time (of games and of your shift clock in/ clock out)
· Submitting scores immediately following your shift
·Communicating proactively and effectively with league admins, fellow referees, and players
At this time we are especially seeking those with prior refereeing experience; we will provide free supplemental training on league rules and processes, along with ongoing professional development.
