Authentic 2007 Ingo Maurer "Samurai" Table Lamp - $420 (Denver Highlands)
QR Code Link to This Post
Selling a genuine 2007 production Ingo Maurer 'Samurai' table lamp from the MaMo Nouchies collection. This is a highly collectible piece of lighting art designed alongside Dagmar Mombach. The lamp is in functional, B-grade condition and priced accordingly given its cosmetic wear. Retains its completely original, vintage halogen lighting setup, providing the authentic warm glow intended by the designer (not a cold LED conversion). Over time, the handmade paper has softened and lost its original stiff shape, and there are minor paper tears that do not impact its display value from the front. The original internal diffuser element was missing, so I have custom-fabricated a replacement using high-quality vellum to perfectly soften the glow. It would be perfect for a design enthusiast or collector who wants a striking, authentic Ingo Maurer sculpture at a fraction of its $2,800+ retail value. Asking $500 OBO
