I have an assortment of books mostly dealing with the history of climbing Mt Everest. Many from the mid 1930 to the mid 1950's.

Some are written by participants of the English exhibition which failed to make the summit. Fascinating for description of mountaineering of the time as well as an insight into the social commentary of these English upper class elites.
