It is for outside but must be under cover, say on a covered patio or in a barn. I bought it thinking it would be waterproof but it isn't. I used it for a feral cat I was feeding but it was not used very much. There is only one door flap. The cat would not push up the plastic flap to go in so I had to remove it but it still gives a cat a cozy place out of the wind in winter. The roof comes off for cleaning. I put the house on a wooden table I made for it and you are welcome to take that as well.
