• Perform macOS troubleshooting: boot issues, software corruption, clean installs, data backup/transfer, iCloud/Apple ID problems
• Test devices after repair and confirm they work before returning to the customer
• Keep work area clean, track parts used, and update job notes
You should know how to
• Open and reassemble iPhones and Macs without damaging parts or cables
• Use proper tools (pentalobe, tri-point, suction, heat pad/gun, microscope if needed)
• Identify genuine vs aftermarket parts and when a part is the actual problem
• Run diagnostics (Apple Diagnostics, ASD if available, or equivalent testing)
• Handle data safely — backup first whenever possible
• Work on both current and older models
• Apple Independent Repair Provider / AASP experience or similar shop experience
• Experience with board-level work (microsoldering) — not required
Requirements
• Hands-on repair experience with iPhones and Macs (please list models you’ve actually worked on)
• Reliable, on time, and careful with customer devices
Pay and hours: This is part Time Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 7hrs each day $19/hr
