A NATIVE DOGWOOD, PAGODA, is a wildlife haven - supporting various spring pollinators and a host for many butterflies. Its late summer deep-blue berries have valuable nutrients that sustain local migrating birds in fall & winter. Native Americans used the bark, flowers, berries, and roots medicinally. Pagoda grows about 15-20 feet tall, thriving in part sun or part shade. It is the hardiest dogwood variety and overwinters even in cold climates. Pagoda is an excellent choice for naturalized gardens. Cornus alternifolia USDA Zones 3–8 Hardy to -30˚F
EDDIE’S WHITE WONDER is often chosen because of its extra-large flowers that may get 4 to 6 inches wide. These emerge in very early spring. Its autumn foliage is a rich red, sometimes with by small red berries. White Wonder prefers partial sun to light shade and matures about 20 feet tall in our area. It is a cross between Eastern Flowering Dogwood & Native Pacific Northwest Dogwood. Cornus ‘Eddies White Wonder’ USDA Zones 5-9 *Phil’s Farm’s L.L.C.
